Popular Lectures, 1898
Description
During the Autumn of 1898, weekly lectures were held each Monday at 8pm. Thomas Horsfall gave the first lecture in the series, which then covered diverse topics. It was often noted in the Annual Reports, that a 'social' after the lecture boosted attendance.
